Hello,
I have made it my mission to empathically support people in the particularly stressful situation of separation and divorce and in other family law conflicts and to defend and enforce their rights with full commitment.
I also enjoy dealing with cross-border legal issues. Thanks to my double degree at a German and an English university, I have a deep understanding of both legal systems. This makes it easier for me to deal with international legal matters.

The Concept // Das Konzept
By founding the law firm jtPETERS, I want to create a law firm that provides highly specialized and excellent professional advice in family law and has arrived in the digital age. The human relationship with my clients is my top priority. As direct contact with my clients is particularly important to me, I have deliberately decided not to have a secretariat. I am easily reachable myself: on my office cell phone, on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
The work processes are completely digital and paperless. This enables fast communication and processing. Thanks to my digital way of working, which also includes advice via video call, I can easily work throughout Germany and across national borders. In my law firm, I want to provide family law advice the way it should be in 2024: modern, digital, human and approachable.

Every case starts with an initial consultation. During the initial consultation, we discuss your case and you receive an initial assessment of the legal situation and a recommendation on how to proceed. In addition, the initial consultation also serves to allow the client and lawyer to get to know each other. The initial consultation lasts up to one hour. If further legal work is required after the initial consultation, you can decide whether you would like to hire me. I will also decide then whether I can and want to accept the case.

The Costs // Die Kosten
When it comes to the cost of my services, transparency and fairness are particularly important to me. I therefore do not charge my services according to fixed prices or amounts in dispute, but on the basis of a time-based fee depending on the actual amount of work involved. This is fairer for both sides. If I continue to work for you after the initial consultation, we will conclude a written remuneration agreement.
